I hope you’ve had a good week! I’m excited to be jumping back into your inbox and so honored that so many of you took advantage of my featured sticker sale last week.

This weeks sticker is another one that really hits home for me. To be still, is something I’m ok at but honestly if I’m sitting still I’m probably reading a book or thinking of 30 other things I “should” be doing. But my husband is so gracious and likes to remind me not to “should” on myself. It’s okay to rest. It’s okay to take a moment to refocus, relax and just BE. I mean if the creator of the universe took a day to rest, why can’t we?

Now, getting my mind to shut off while I rest is a different story but I am working on it. The other part of this verse is to KNOW that He is God. When my daughter was worrying about her travel overseas I reminded her of how God loves her so very much and that HE is GOD and HE knows what is best. Let us rest in His promises and KNOW that HE is GOD and we get the day off and don’t have to try to be god or try to pretend like we have it all together.
