It’s kind of embarrassing that my last post was April 7th. But it’s also indicative of what the last two months have been like. We got a small break in the sports action at the beginning of April for the younger three but were driving two hours to see our oldest son play baseball regularly. The younger three started their practices in the middle of April. May brought all the craziness that everyone experiences at the end of the school year. Field trips, ball games, graduations, Mother’s Day, a wedding. We experienced it all.
“Maycember” is dubbed well, except I was missing the twinkle the lights and my kids were the ones getting the gifts. Three of my girls graduated in May (preschool, 8th grade and highschool) and two even had the honor of graduating on the SAME DAY! We were blessed with beautiful days for the graduations and party and so honored to have so many family and friends celebrate our girls with us.

My oldest daughter, Naomi is off traveling the globe with her choir while the rest of us dream of such adventures. We are taking life one day at a time and one ball game at a time but sometimes two ball games at the same time as well. So, if you can’t find us check the ball field.
Naomi, is taking a gap year and will be doing a year long art internship and I am SO stinking excited for her. I wish I could join her for the internship. She is such an amazing artist and I cannot wait to watch her skills grow and see how she uses these gifts and talents in the future. She does have an etsy shop and instagram of the same name where she shares her art. I’m sure she’d LOVE to draw your family. She has some beautiful rings and some fun bookish stickers too.
Leaving for work bright and early and heading to ball games directly after work have put a speed bump in my creative time…which is ok. I don’t mind slowing down my production of paintings, etc and enjoying the base/softball games but I also really miss painting. I have been working on some custom paintings lately and I cannot wait to share them with you. But I am ready for more. So let me know what you have in mind!
I got to paint some more churches in April and I love being part of these stories. Obviously Pastors and their families hold a special place in my heart and it is such an honor to be a small part of these milestones for them.
I wanted to shake things up a bit this summer so I have decided that I will be featuring a sticker each week of the summer and making them half off for that week. Make sure to open your emails to find out which sticker will be featured every Monday.
This week the sticker is one of my newer designs and it is one that I really love. When I first heard this saying I loved it from the get go. I even embroidered it onto a pillow for a housewarming gift for one of my college roommates and I figured it was time to bring it back because the sentiment is so good.
Sit long. Talk much. Pray often. I feel that in our fast paced, screen orientated society we need the reminder to sit down, talk to people and pray with and for them. (I also love to draw couches so this was perfect for that desire of mine.) I hope you love this sticker and stock up while you can because it is first come first served and they will only be 50% off until Sunday night (June 8th) and the next sticker sale will be revealed on Monday, June 9th.
Thank you friends for sticking with me even when I let months go by without saying Hello. I know your inbox is full and I REALLY appreciate you opening, reading and maybe even grabbing a sticker or two!!
I pray you have an awesome week. And if there is something specific I can pray for please do not hesitate to reply and let me know what it is.
God’s richest blessings!
